Dr Eric Donnelly and Yvonne Brown have worked on over 100 renewable energy projects across the UK. Eric spent two years working for Ecological Consultancies in Edinburgh before becoming a self employed ecological consultant in 2005.

Eric previously worked on ornithological research projects, including three years on the Joint Raptor Study at Langholm with The Game Conservancy Trust and Centre for Ecology and Hydrology. He also worked for  RSPB on contracts researching ring ouzels in Galloway and wader surveys in Cumbria. His habitat/ vegetation experience covers bracken ecology (MSc and PhD thesis) and over 20 Phase 1/NVC surveys for proposed and operational wind farm sites. He also carried out the annual tree seedling surveys in Glenfeshie for Deer Commission Scotland.


Yvonne Brown has been carrying out ornithological surveys for over 20 years.  She first started with RSPB working in Marketing & Public Affairs and then moved into their Reserves Management division through her interest in birds and conservation.  She became a self-employed consultant in 2006, working on renewable developments across Scotland.  She has also carried out PR tasks relating to wind farms, including public exhibitions and launches.
